Many people dread the dentist’s chair, and those fears prevent them from obtaining the dental care they need. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

We want our patients to be as comfortable as possible when they are in our office. This goal led us to being one of the first dental offices in Indianapolis, INLearn more about our office, to adopt technologies to minimize pain and fear while providing the best possible clinical results.

From licensed and certified IV sedation and computerized local anesthetics to nearly pain-free laser-assisted dentistry, Keystone Dentistry makes your comfort our top priority.

Your Sedation Options
You can practically sleep through your visit!

Nitrous Oxide

As a form of conscious sedation, nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask that fits comfortably over your nose. In just a few minutes, you may start to experience a floating sensation, and perhaps some tingling in the hands and feet. That’s a sign the sedation is working.

Once it has been verified that you’re calm and comfortable and that the dose is correct, your dental procedure can begin. This form of sedation is ideal for children, those with mild anxiety, or patients who struggle to sit in the chair for lengthy procedures.

Oral Conscious Sedation

For patients with extreme fears, oral sedation offers deeper relaxation and less awareness of their surroundings.

Oral sedatives are either swallowed whole in pill form or can be dissolved under the tongue. Both methods work in a matter of minutes.

IV Sedation

This technique helps patients with dental phobias get the care they need. It makes it possible for us to perform complicated dental surgery right here in our office.

IV sedation will immediately begin to soothe you to the point where you are free of worry and begin to drift into sleep. It is administered intravenously by Dr. Kinney and allows you to relax fully.
