Bonding Services

Bonding is the solution for restoring decayed teeth or the reshaping of teeth without the expense of veneers or crowns. Bonding will lighten any stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct crooked teeth. Bonding is also used for patients who have chipped teeth or even gum recession. Basically, bonding will cover any natural flaws, and most of the time we don’t even have to get you numb!

The dental bonding procedure utilizes a composite resin that is used for a variety of structural as well as cosmetic purposes. First, your skilled and highly-trained restorative technician will apply very mild etching solution to your teeth to create microscopic etches in the tooth’s enamel structure. These small crevices provide a slightly rough surface permitting a durable bond between tooth structure and resin. After a strong bonding agent is painted on the surface, layers of color-matched resins are then applied to your tooth and a high-intensity light cures and hardens the resins. When the last coat has been applied to your tooth, the bonded material is then sculpted to fit your tooth and finely polished. The results are phenomenal!

Below is a photo of a patient of ours that chipped her front teeth. As you can see the result was beautiful, natural-looking teeth!
